Lebanese Jad Khoury & Syrian Lina Ghaibeh use clay animation to send humorous but biting social and political messages to their Lebanese audience, dealing with issues from landmine awareness to the pitfalls of excessive cosmetic surgery, and from the peace process with Syria to the ecological impact of littering.

Their work is notable for the nuance of their distinctly Lebanese settings and characters. Their characters play off the diverse economic status, dress, social habits and accents of the country’s population.
